Infectious Diseases and Travel Medicine at Regency

An infectious disease (ID) specialist is a physician with advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses caused by microorganisms or germs. Many common infections can be treated by your personal physician, however your doctor may refer you to an ID specialist in cases where an infection is difficult to diagnose, is accompanied by a high fever, or does not respond to treatment.

Our Travel Medicine clinic provides a health advisory specific to you and your International itinerary. We will inform you of general travel health guidelines such as food, water and insect precautions. You will also be advised of particular health risks and disease outbreaks for the region in which you are traveling.
